Egg Cake
1 box yellow cake mix (not the one with pudding, just plain)
10 whole eggs
Mix cake and eggs with shells according
to package directions. Put into greased 9*13
inch pan. Sieds will pull away from pan and toothpick will be clean when tested. Don't
over
bake! Cool. Cut into pieces . Put on cooke sheets and let dry in oven with pilot lit only. Moisten with water to feed.

Applesauce Cookie Bars
4 Boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix
3 bottles baby food
banana/yogurt juice
1 jar baby food sweet potatoes
1 jar baby food squash
2 jar baby food macaroni & cheese
1 jar baby food oatmeal & apples cereal
1 apple cut
up very small
1 jar baby food carrots
1 egg w/shell crushed
1 small jar of applesauce
Mix well and pour into pan. Bake on 350* until done. Makes 1 9x13 inch pan. Cut into long strips and top with applesauce. Thaw
as needed. Birds cannot resist this!
Beans and Things
1/4 c. kidney beans
1/4 c. pinto beans
1/4 c. split peas
1/4 c. lentils
1/4 c. navy beans
1 c. cooked brown rice
1 cup cooked pasta (very small)
1 carrot (chopped)
1 c. frozen corn (thawed)
Soak beans overnight. Add carrots and cook with beans
for one hour. Add corn and rice and cook till warm. Cool and serve. Store excess in leak proof containers.
